Beth Page, MSc in CSP, MSOD, CHRP

I realized my dreams when I founded Dream Catcher Consulting. As a coach and consultant, I work with individuals and organizations to leverage the value of the human dimension in change. Prior to founding my company, I previously worked for several years as an internal consultant in Organization Development and Human Resources positions.

Through Dream Catcher Consulting, I've worked with many public and private sector organizations, including The Children’s Hospital, Many Rivers, City of Victoria, Family Military Resource Centre and the BC Public Service Agency. I also contribute to global leadership development as an Associate Faculty member in the MBA and Master of Arts in Leadership programs and the Centre for Applied Leadership and Management at Royal Roads University.

My most recent work, Change Happens, was released in 2011. Listed among Amazon’s Top 30 business books the day it launched, Change Happens provides practical guidance for achieving successful change by focusing on the human dimensions of organizational change. I also wrote Done Deal: Your Guide to Merger and Acquisition Integration, and was a contributing author to the Canadian best-seller, Awakening the Workplace.

I hold a Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) degree from Pepperdine University, as well as a MSc in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University, and a BA in Psychology from Carleton University. I'm also certified as an Emotional Intelligence Coach (EQ in Action)

My client work is currently dedicated to coaching, consulting, and leading learning in the areas of Change Leadership and Emotional Intelligence - two areas that are interconnected as potential points of leadership leverage in client systems.

I am teaching in the MA Leadership program at Royal Roads University and the MBA program at University of Victoria. Over the last few months I have also been developing curriculum for clients. There is nothing more exciting for me than designing a program or workshop that, when offered yields both great learning for participants, and a sense of renewal for their work and their leadership.

I devote my volunteer time and talent as a Board member with Leadership Vancouver Island and the Cowichan Valley Hospice Society. I also volunteer with the Women’s Enterprise Centre. I play the harp, enjoy backpacking and hiking in and around my home on Vancouver Island, and getting out kayaking with friends.
