My background is in education. I began my career in early childhood education. I taught children from 3 to 6 years of age for 15 years. I then moved into volunteer resource management in the health care system. I was intrigued with various systems within health care and when the opportunity to move into leadership development and organizational change was presented to me, I jumped at the chance. I returned to school and completed my MA in Leadership. I was then offered the opportunity to teach in this area. I currently teach in the MA Leadership program, the MBA program, and executive programs. My teaching focuses on learning, leadership and organizational behaviour. I supervise both Organizational Leadership projects and Organizational Management projects. My consulting practice focuses on team development, strategic planning and executive coaching.

My number one passion is reading! Anything and everything. And my main hobby is-playing the harp...not well but with enthusiasm. And my family is the central point. They support me in all I do and they keep me grounded.

I love to learn and so, to be in the classroom with like minded people is a joy. Creating the space for people to explore new. ideas, challenge assumptions and discover new connections is magical. I believe that my excitement for learning and the acquisition of knowledge is very evident to those in my classes and it excites them. And I approach my work as an equal partner. Every person brings years of experience and wisdom. I bring expertise in a particular subject. Together we build a community of learning that is unique. And I make it fun to learn again. We laugh!
