Sue Bock

Sue Bock, CEC, PCC

First and foremost, I am a female leader focused on my family, my business, and my community. I live in the interior of BC where I have grown up, raised a great family with my husband and enjoyed a successful business for the last 10 years. I have 28 years of a very extensive and diverse background in public education, community health education, employment counselling, administration/management and leadership. My many years of volunteering in the non-profit community-building system has also contributed to my current abilities and presence. Until I began my own business I didn’t have an effective place to utilize and leverage all my skills and experience; coaching instructing and consulting has provided me that place to play my biggest game yet.

I specialize in ‘building coaching cultures’, assisting leaders and employees to produce an open environment for employee growth and engagement.  Currently I am integrating new pathways for organizations to be able to embrace leadership coaching in an effective, affordable and sustainable way. Today’s economic limitations are holding back leaders from being their best, therefore we, as coaches and consultants, need to redraft how we offer our supports.

My personal passions are being BOLD!  And being BOLD in everything I do. I love being with people and spending time in the community offering my services and skills to make ‘something’ better. My grand-children are my main focus at the moment and expanding my recreational activities to enjoy life in my retirement years; whenever those years show up!!!

I’m fun, practical and clearly strive to support others to be their best.  While theory is a strong foundation to the coaching program it’s the ‘so what?’(coined by my colleague) that allows students to hit the road running after their graduation. I believe it’s our job and role to ensure students leave our program with confidence, skills and a self-developed vision that will support them in the real world of business.
